Allergy

More and more people are allergic to an increasing amount of things. Unnatural living conditions and products are frequently the cause. Mold, dust, electromagnetic pollution (also based synthetic materials), in addition to stress and diet are common triggers.
In the sleep environment one protects himself by using natural materials, with good climate properties, avoiding electromagnetic pollution as well as by good ventilation. The most common form is the so-called house dust allergy, usually a protein-reaction caused by particulate matter in the waste of mites which attach themselves to the house dust and spread into the room; thankfully to TN-MP-100 it has to become manageable within the home. Concerned should please read the information sheet BioNeem

Alpine wool (fleece wool)

Our wool (see below) comes exclusively from the alpine sheep cooperatives, thus species-appropriate origin. The wool is not treated chemically or transported unnecessarily.
So we always have pure natural and ecologically sound product that corresponds according to chemical analysis of the quality of organic wool. More about Wool Schurwolle

B

Builiding biology

Builiding biology is the science of a healthy house, the local equivalent of Feng Shui, starting with the good place, the right materials to a healthy indoor environment.

c. o. C.

"controlled organic Cultivation" - natural cultivation in crop rotation, without artificial fertilizers, no pesticides and sensitive water consumption are the ecologically important aspects of organic textiles, in addition to the ethical, such as food, education and physical integrity of the cotton workers. The authenticity of the controlled organic cultivation is controlled by independent, registered institutions. We are member of IVN and our organic cotton is certified to GOTS.

Climate-active

Climate-active natural fibers are highly permeable moisture and air and this provide for a dry, healthy place to sleep.

Coconut fiber

Coconut fiber from the outer cover of the coconut - stable, flexible, odorless, climate, insect repellent and ecologically, also called 'vegetable horsehair'.
Coir fibers provides - like Horeshair - ventilation and additional stability the futon.
The choice between coconut and horsehair is essentially left to your personal taste, coconut is slightly firmer.
Specifications for coir

Contact area

Specifies the area of the body, which is in contact with the mattress surface. A good mattress provides elasticity (contouring) and stability, without enclosing the body unnecessarily.

Cotton

Cotton is utilized either as cloth (Drell, Jersey, terry, velor) or as a soft fleece / cotton wadding. Cotton is antistatic and skin friendly and provides a pleasant sleeping climate apart from the genius diffusion effect.
The raw material for the 2nd Human skin is produced in an amount of 20 million tons per year, still mostly in "anti-ecological" mono-cultures. Groundwater contamination and desertification to a great extent are the results. Therefore the certified organic cotton is important for the conservation of our natural world.
More information c.o.C. - Organic Cotton is the international term for cotton from certified organic cultivation.

Why do we not always utilize controlled organic cotton: Unfortunately, there is still a difference in the commodity price, which makes the amount of cotton in some FUTON noticeable.
If we absorb this difference, those not yet touched by the subject of ecology will consider our products for too expensive and buy somewhere else where maybe the resources and products are not dealt with as carefully. Additionally we would to bring attention to the issue therewith, elucidate and to help to an own, conscious decision.
Our conventional cotton also is rigorously tested for pollutants (according to Qul) and is therefore holds no limit to the personal use.
The organic cultivation is by the way not much more expensive and therefore will prevail in the long run. Ethically, meaning in pay and in dealing with the working people, it promotes an attentive way, which we welcome none the less.
Find a documentation about cotton on the site of our qulity union IVN. Interesting information also here: www.biothemen.de

D

Diffusion

Diffusion passages of moisture through the membrane-like surface of organic materials, (in this case) specifically the transport of perspiration moisture.
Natural fibers are permeable to a large extent.

Double-cloth

Double-cloth a two-sided knitted cloth (also composite), with a smooth top surface (fine thread) and soft inside stuffer, for more volume.
Elastic, soft and forming by building air chambers, this warming.

E

Eco

Ecology means the conscious / sensitive use of natural resources in the interest of preserving the natural environment. The use of renewable resources in reasonable dimensions and renewable energy are two important components.
An ecological product must not be 'organic' (i.e. a 5 liter car), an organic product must not be 'eco' (e.g. import fruits from overseas).

Ecobalance

The ecobalance of a product summarizes all harmful effects on the environment (energy, emissions, etc.) that a product produces from its creation up until its disposal.
The calculcated value can be shown in kj/t (kilojoule per ton).

Elasticity

Elasticity The decisive criterion of natural latex / rubber. The pure natural latex clearly has the best point elasticity of all elastic materials. The measurement criterion is the so-called SAG-Faktor

Electrostatic/electromagnetic smog

Electromagnetic smog refers to the superposition of electric fields. In bed synthetic materials produce static charge by friction.
This, similar to the electromagnetic radiation, puts the skin under tension and creates stress. Extensive information on this topic is available from the Ministry of EnvironmentNorth Rhine-Westphalia: in the Information brochure electrosmog

F

Fleece wool (high-pile wool)

A patented process in which the wool fibers are processed "standing", instead of lying down, making the fleece much bulkier, breathable, durable and feel cuddly / fluffy, a soothing relief for the skin. Properly used, this wool is a great asset to utilization quality and comfort, of course, made with pure alpine sheep's wool - exclusive to our bioFUTONs.

Futon

Futon is originally from Japan and means "sleeping place." The mat of beaten cotton fibers cultivated for two thousand years in a pretty cover is very thin so that it is rollable and to be set aside during the day with narrow living room.
Depending on the age and social status the futon sleeper owned several of these mats to his sleeping comfort.
The European futon comes from the 80's and extended the skin-friendly and climate-active cotton to more air and hygiene active fibers, such as wool, coconut, horsehair, and the highly elastic natural latex to achieve a lasting elasticity.
As a result our voluminous and futons become sustainable long-term cushions of comfort.
Our futons contains as much natural latex as necessary to achieve a good elasticity and as much as possible of natural fibers in order to optimize the bed climate. The futon is not stitched on the surface, but stapled and thus smoother than conventional mattresses.
FUTON offers - despite the high latex comfort – an earthy lying feeling; one might think one perceives his body better.
In addition, the climatic effect is fascinating; a futon is always dry, warm quickly, but never too much. Because of its moisture balance and the natural hair content a futon is very hygienic.
Little care more than any mattress would require is needed. The fine fibers of the cotton and fleece wool can always be inspired to new freshness by a lot of fresh air and a spring sun bath.
Please also see under Useful Tips for futons.

Freezing

Freezing brings to our attention the impending hypothermia, therefore, the trembling and shaking, what sets them in motion, whereby heat is produced in sleep there is nothing to move, so we need a warming cocoon that protects us. With age, the greater the freezing, which is partly due to diminishing skin resistance and requires a better cover. In any case conditioned duvet is a useful tool for deep, restful sleep ... see article natural hair blankets

G

GOTS

Global Organic Textile Standard is the most popular certification standard for textiles of 'clean' origin (organic / fair) worldwide. The GOTS was originally founded by the IVN (International Association of Natural Textile Industry eV) and handles the controlling and marking of textile products from their place of origin to their sale. This not very strict standard allows many farms / regions / countries that handle cultivation - but also companies in further processing - to show that they are encouraging organic goods and to grow into the subject, which it could / would otherwise not be able to afford.
Our organic cotton obviously goes far beyond the requirements of the GOTS and is 100% made from controlled biological cultivation.

H

House dust allergy

(Primarily) protein reaction, triggered by the large dust mite excretions, which attach themselves to the house dust and spread within the room.
Further info under Allergy and BioNeem

Horse hair

Horse hair shorn hair of mane, tail and coat steamed, crimped and is needled, air-active, hygienic, stabilizing and yet elastic. The horsehair like the coconut fiber predominantly has a ventilating function in futon, wherein it is also flexible and stabilizing as hygienic effect. Animal hair allergies need not to worry. There are no allergic reactions known to the horse hair. If in doubt, ask for a sample or take coconut fiber or take coconut fibre.
Specifications for horsehair

Horse Tail Hair

Rosetail hair consists of 100% horse tail hair . It is washed in the country of origin (South America, China, Mongolia) under high heat (about 120 °C) and in our spinning mill in Germany and heated again in our spinning mill in Germany, so that all germs and pests are eliminated. The horse tail hair is elastic and dimensionally stable at the same time and has valuable hygroscopic effects. Thus, it can absorb up to 25% of its own weight in moisture, without feeling damp. No chemical additives are used during the entire production process.

I V N

The IVN = International Association of Natural Textile Industry eV is the largest and most important association of natural textile manufacturers / processors / dealers and founder / owner of the international certification standards GOTS

J

Jersey

Jersey is a lightweight, smooth knit, elastic cloth. The name refers to the origin (the British were quite forward in the textile industry in the 17th-19th century).

L

Latex

Latex as a term is too general for us and is often abused.
Thus we speak of natural latex or natural rubber, which means that 100% of the polymers contained originate pure latex sap of the rubber tree "Hevea brasiliensis" and latex polymers containing at least 95% (3-5% are "expansion" ), so no extenders. More information under Natural latex.

Latex coverd coir

When coconut fiber is sprayed with natural latex and cured, it produces a spring-elastic material with excellent cooling properties, and we call it coconut rubber.

Limewood

The wood of linden (primarily small leaved linden) is - for the purpose of construction - well suited for products like solid slatted frames, because it shows near to no cracks or deformations in a dry state while at the same time being leight, solid and colored in a friendly, bright shade. Linden is also widespread in Europe, which means its use is suitable from an environmental point of view. For the most part, Europe has large leaved linden in the south and small leaved linden in the north and in the east. At an average, the trees are about 20 meters high and have a diameter of a meter.

M

Molton

A Molton cover is a soft cotton cloth with elastic straps at the corners for hygiene and stain protection. It does not affect lying properties and is easily washable, up to 95 degrees and dryable. Especially recommended for people with allergies. It also protects. Available from us only in organic quality (organic).

N

Natural latex, 100%

100% natural latex contains no synthetic polymers or other, prolonging admixtures and only thus the special quality arises: it is the chemical structure of extremely long chains of molecules that form in the vulcanization, which generates the unique elasticity of natural latex. Microscopic point of view, one could imagine the material as a dense 3-dimensional network, which is stretchable in any direction.
The natural latex foam is baked core for core in huge steel forms, cellular breathable (even if only to a small extent, because of its density) highly elastic and smooth. Therefore, it is especially suited for use as a sleeping pad, from an ergonomic standpoint, and the best material we know. Another consequence of the high ductility that we also call point elasticity is the durability, which also exceeds any conventional measure.
Put it this way: a natural latex foam core of high quality is neither felt nor (relevant) measurably consumed after 10 years of use.
In the mattress, fully upholstered, natural latex foam produced an enormous body fitting that a little is the feeling of weightlessness.
In the Futon this effect is not so strong because of the many natural fibers, but just this keeps the natural latex in motion, and thus the long term in the form.
Allergy: an allergic reaction to latex, although not to be ruled out, but so far (at least in the form of a cushion core) is not yet known. If you are allergic to protein and concern, you can receive a specimen of natural latex to test.
Ecology: the rubber raw material is completely decomposed, but the 3-5% caking agent (phosphorus, sulfates) would deposit mainly in drinking water. Therefore, a natural latex core belongs in the garbage incinerator, where he has but a good calorific value (for district heating), with minimal residue. Because of the natural latex foam but has a very long shelf life, the ecological balance is good, compared to other foams.
Origin / History originally based in the Latin American tropical tree "Hevea brasiliensis" produced by photosynthesis the milky juice, already the Maya knew how to use (presumably Football was born there and not in England) and from which we win our most precious resource. In the 18th Century one English man smuggled a boatload seedlings of the precious and closely guarded by the Spaniards good into the Asian colonies of the British Crown. Legend has it only a handful of seedlings survived and formed the basis for the triumph of wonderful material around the world. John Dunlop modified around the turn of the century by Charles Goodyear developed the vulcanization such was the permanently elastic foam that we produce today in this way.

Natural hair blankets

Many people sweat or freeze the night ... mainly because of unsuitable commodities of bed space. Simple way to resolve this external factor is the use of natural hair blankets, which hold the heat, but where the humidity can escape (diffusion). Neither feathers nor synthetic fibers allow sufficient diffusion, natural fibers however highly diffuse. Wool hair is the most suitable, the higher and finer the fiber the better the efficiency. Merino sheep wool provides good performance, camel a very good one and cashmere the best.
In our opinion, merino wool is sufficient for men, while women with cold feet should use camel fluff; Cashmere is great for any one that can afford it.
Silk has good thermal conductivity and is therefore a cooling material; it is mainly suitable as a summer cover-filling. Similarly, the neutral and anti-static cotton that serve you well as a summer blanket, but is also suitable for winter use as a duo quilt.
It makes sense to have two blankets, one for summer, one for the winter.
Further information on the subject can be found on the product pages blankets at Neonatura.de

O

Organic (Bio)

Organic means the cultivation of plant raw materials in a natural, original way, without chemical assistance. An organic product does not have to be eco, e.g. Fertilization with manure, food transported worldwide or the most explosive example, bio-diesel, an ecological disaster.

Organic Cotton

Organic Cotton is the international term for cotton from controlled organic cultivation, certified organic.

Origin

The origin of our materials is well known to us. All textiles are made or refined in Germany and Austria, our natural latex comes from German production in Indonesia.

P

"Plein-Air" Virgin Wool

Our wool comes, among other things, from so-called "plein air" sheep, which come from the area of Portiers and Limoges from France. They live outdoors almost all year round. The sheep are descended from the Texel and Charolais breeds. Texel fleece wool brings the good color, cleanliness and length, Charolais fleece wool brings the bulkiness. "Plein-Air" virgin wool consists of pure, particularly long natural hair with a very good bulking power. This is favored by the optimized wool mixture of different French sheep breeds as well as by the weather and the geographical location. as well as by the weather and the geographical location. Point elasticity

Point elasticity means the compression or expansion of an arbitrary point of the surface with the least possible effect on the rest of the surface. The smaller the affected area, the higher the point elasticity. Contrary: surface elasticity. Figure: SAG-Faktor. Natural latex has the highest point elasticity of all upholstery materials.

Pesticides

one of those topics that we hardly notice in the general media hype, similar to antibiotics, even though Germany is one of the largest pesticide producers through Bayer (Monsanto) alone. As with other topics, the Heinrich Böll Foundation has a big one Report on the situation of pesticides that is definitely worth reading. For us, the topic of pesticides is essentially relevant for cotton. That is why we differentiate between organic and standard, whereby the direct effect of the pesticides is exclusively ecological.

Q

Quality Policy

Futons by FUTONWERK are all made under unique quality principles
We ensure that the raw materials are already tested by our suppliers according to clear criteria (usually under Qul and the ECO Institute, Cologne) on relevant contaminants and declared safe.
We ensure that our products are always made in a proper, accurate manner.
We make sure our raw materials, such as products are not transported unnecessary.
And we take care to provide our services at the best possible price, so that as many people can enjoy this quality.

QuL

Qul Quality Association for Environmentally Friendly Latex Mattresses e.V. (verified by the eco-environmental Institute, Cologne). Founded in 1994 QUL is the "purity instance" for natural mattresses. Some 250 relevant pollutants are on the Index and controlled.
Further information on the test criteria directly at QuL-eV.de.

S

Sanfor

Sanforizing (and shrinking) we call a mechanical process in which cotton fabrics is prepared for washing so that it does not shrink. The term goes back to the inventor Sanford L. Cluett, who developed the technique in the 1920s.

Satin

Satin is a noble fabric (in Atlas-binding), in which the weft thread (transverse thread) only tunnels under every 4th or 5th warp. This will result in smooth surfaces (bottom chain, top shot) with good elasticity. In a corresponding weight / quality grade satin is the first choice as are ference material for futons.

Sheep Wool

Our pure natural sheep wool comes from sheep farming in Austrian, not chemically pretreated and according to chemical analysis corresponds to the quality of organic wool. It is usually 500 g / sqm needled gently (or 700g/qm Fleece wool) and completely envelops the other layers, like a sheath. Due to the dense structure of the fibers, with their waxy-lipid interface that wool is highly climate-active and hygienic. Wool can absorb half of its own weight in moisture, without being noticeable and then easily release it. The lanolin (wool wax) provides a natural filtration of welding particles (fat / acid / salt / protein) and prevents material degradation. We use alpine quality and French "Plein-Air" wool.

Size

What sizes are there / which one do I need?
This is basically an individual choice. Almost all products are available in almost any width and length, up to 220 x 240 cm.
Here are a few tips: with the length, take your height plus 20 cm. A bed is more like a cozy sweater than a tailor-made suit which you don’t choose too scantly. The ones sleeping alone are well off with 120 – 140 cm, couples depending on personal habits sleep comfortably from 140 cm (especially young ones) and generally get on well with 160 cm (up to 180 cm) width.
The resilience of the cover is bigger the narrower it is; thus narrow futons of the same type are firmer than wider ones.
Find out more about it right choice under Buying Tips.

Sleeping environment

Healthy sleeping climate is characterized by cool (17 ° C) and oxygen-rich, relatively dry (55%) air; a bed of natural materials with a high air-type provides a good contribution.
More info and advice you get from us or on the Internet, under the heading of Building biology, "The house".

Sleep pattern / sleep cycles

Sleep proceeds in several stages, which can be represented using different brain frequency.
It starts with the drifting, the so-called alpha phase (meditative phase), here the brain reaches a vibration frequency of about 13 Hz, and we are in the transition to light sleep, from there it goes in. quickly into deep sleep and below 4 Hz, intervening repeatedly REM phases, beginning the night more deep sleep (1-2 hours), later increasing REM (1-2 hours), most of the time, however, light sleep (3-4 hours). At night, or with entering the rest glands pour out large quantities of growth hormones, which provide for the cellular regeneration, this may work best in your sleep, as most organs are less active. During deep sleep, therefore there is a significant aspect of this vital life energy and creative processes.
Blessed is he that is so embedded, it can take place, the sleeping pad is so strong and resilient that the body can maintain a safe position and move even without pressing the whole musculature. Movements to occur predominantly in the REM phase when terrifying moments of the day and of course discharged in light sleep, so that all parts of the body balanced in the various positions and can spend the juices flowing balanced. 30-60 movements take place in the average natural sleep procedure, and here again, it needs a good elasticity of the substrate.
Both interesting and unexplored is the alpha phase, the door to the bedroom, while we also can float between the conscious and subconscious and energetic way come into contact with others. It is also that the newly discovered napping during the day marks.
This is just a very brief summary of a very complex process that we humans do not understand for a long time - so there is still only a set of hypotheses about the meaning and function of the device sleep. Only thing is that it is essential for homo sapiens, and preferably in the dark takes place because we then amplified to produce melatonin, the body's natural sleep aid.
Please also read our tips.

Slipcover

The second outer shell for futons. A slipcover gives the futon a smooth, clearer appearance and protects against contamination or - in color / with decorations - decorated the room when the futon serves as a sofa.
Our organic covers in nature are washable seat covers up to 60 ° C. To protect your futon from sweat, etc. in bed, we suggest, however, a molton cover (also organic cotton), because it is more practical to use and affordable.

Sweating

Sweating is a state of overheating, in which the skin releases moisture to cool by means of evaporation, which also works well, if enough air surrounds us. Under a blanket however that moisture cannot escape, it is enough to build up, so the moisture impedes perspiration, which wakes us and creates a slumber that is not enough to relax ... see article Natural hair blankets

Smell

Your new futon smells of a mixture of wool, horsehair and latex (cotton and coconut do not really smell), the wool is mostly the one forming the odor.
The smell is reduced significantly during the first few days / weeks. After a few months only an idea remains when putting your nose into it, just so much that one is reminded of natural materials feel.
The intensity of the odor is (apart from individual sensitivity) fluctuating, mainly seasonal. In the summer or at higher humidity the smell is stronger, while in the cooler, dry season, it disappears. Initially, he is naturally stronger, because a) the goods are fresh and b) was trapped for a while in the plastic bag, concentrating the smells, so they are also reflected in the fabric, which then in turn needs time to disappear.
Also the intensity of the wool odor varies from batch to batch. So, a little patience, a lot of air and please do not worry, there are natural scents.

Solid wood

From solid wood, unlike plywood, plywood, plywood, MDF or particleboard, glued wood bar is also considered solid wood. Here is a well-crafted carpentry info page with a lot of wood science.

Swiss pine wood

The swiss pine is an alpin pine species (i.e. a resinous softwood) which has become popular especially for bedroom furniture in recent times. The aromatic scent of the swiss pine is said to have all sorts of harmonizing effects; among others to decrease the heart rate and thereby provide better rest.

Test & Certificate

This is a difficult issue on which there are many stories and anecdotes. We want to provide at this point is why we attach no importance to test products and certificates.
As for the Test / product-test tested products, there is, as everyone knows two organizations controlling this issue, Stiftung Warentest, a parastatal organization that is in principle serious, because of their status, but whose test results reliability are still limited , at the end they dread 2 things, the damage to legitimate businesses and the possible, resulting process / cost risk.
In the field of mattresses tests it is striking that the test criteria are partly so slack that even 'weak' products achieve passable results. Consumers looking for quality have no clear decision aid; the much larger group of those who want to spend little is met half way and thereby enhances quality deterioration. The other establishment 'Ökotest' is a private enterprise company from the get go and cannot ensure the safe separation of advertisers and Test aspirant.
I know both positive and reliable tests and test results from both sides, as well as those in which as a serious professional you can only bang your head or chocking on laughter when you are affected. So I know for example in the field of natural mattresses of cases where one competitor that uses the same certified Qul materials as others, was rated a grade worse, because it is in this batch of material other results were obtained It would thus also be able to be the other way around and is clearly noticeable for the one who has the bad grade.
There are also double standards, since a fully synthetic (and price / service miserable) Tempur mattress is suddenly found as ‘good’ in the 2nd try (!), while respectable natural mattresses are written down to 'satisfactory' (principle), if they contain plastic For consumers, this is not recognizable.
Stiftung Warentest is known to (similar to Ökotest) preferentially take up certain manufacturers' products in the test, while other, just as relevant products do not show up. If manufacturers do no corresponding 'lobbying', they only have a small chance to be in it.
As a result, one must conclude that this the test is too much of a marketing-technical instrument that is hard fought for by the industry, but offers quality-orientated consumers no satisfactory support, especially as quality products often come from small producers and - because of their small market importance – do not occur in the test. Over time, I have enough experience, even with predominantly positive tests and test results of Stiftung Warentest and Ökotest to make the decision, not to work with it, in order to appropriately present true quality.

The situation is similar with the certificates.
The certification criteria for the consumers are rarely transparent and require trust to the respective authority. The manufacturer must obtain the certificate, it must meet certain conditions, although not necessarily considered secure or verifiable, but it is assumed that they are respected. Thus you trust a company and ultimately in return the certificate receives a marketing-technical alibi.
For example, if the material purity of cotton from certified organic cultivation organic cotton (certified organic) is ensured by the fact that the producers send in a sample 1x per year to a laboratory, you ultimately trust this producer or the clothing manufacturer that processes these goods.
When for example the textile product is decorated with an eco-label, which indicates the test of 200 pollutants, it makes a good impression and entices us to buy it. But whether it was made in dubious manner somewhere in Central Asia, is even less clear than the other aspect that it is really made from certified organic cultivation.
There are also many examples and stories that in the end make it clear that it is about trust and we want to build on the greatest possible openness in product representation and advice, instead of a seal. To make it clear that there is no lack of access to the issue of certification it should be mentioned that I founded the QuL and built it up with and am now a member of the IVN. If you want the inspection certificate for one or more of our materials, we will send them to you by email upon request.

Utiliztion Tips

Useful tips for futons

V

Vegan

Vegan futon, so no animal fibers ... we have always done that. Choose your favourite futon and order it 'vegan', then we use cotton or hemp (makes the futon hard) instead of virgin wool and coconut instead of horsehair, the price remains the same. You should only avoid our great wool (in clean alpine quality) if you really live vegan.

Velours

Velours from pure organic cotton, controlled organic cultivation - is a particularly elastic, elegant knitter testimony, similar terry fine, but with open loops, thereby fluffy. It absorbs moisture and air conditioned very well. We use velours in ergoVlex collection, in conjunction with our fleece wool and achieve an exceptionally supple / cozy lounge feeling.

W

Wood (Types of Wood)

Solid wood is a renewable raw material that mainly has a positive influence on healthy living. It is characterized above all by its aesthetic design options, high stability and good thermal behavior. More about the types of wood we use for our beds.

Wash instruction

For washable futon slipcovers. Your futon cover is made of the finest cotton - certified organic - and carefully prepared according to the washability. By a mechanical process in which the fabric is compressed with hot water and pressure, and pulled, called sanforizing (after the inventor Sanford Cluett) we achieve that. The tissue is thus smooth and extends somewhat more than usual, widens, which during washing then goes out. Changes of 2% is common, but if you put the washed cover on, it returns to its original size. Please wash at 30-40 ° C in order to achieve the best result in terms of handling. Washing at 60 ° C is possible, but it attacks the tissues and must be subsequently pulled stronger. If you prefer the hot wash because of hygiene, you should use the Molton-cover.
