Roll-Up Slats

23 slats of solid, untreated solid beech wood, each 5 cm x 2 cm and about 3.8 cm apart, assembled without metal and with robust cotton belt to prevent squeaking and creaking. From a width of 120 cm, the slat thickness is 5 cm x 2 cm. As a rule, beech wood is used, in exceptional cases and with special dimensions, another type of wood (mostly linden) is also possible.

The slatted frame requires continuous lateral support bars of about 25mm width on the bed frame and a center support for variants with a width of 140 cm and wider.
If your bed does not have support bars for frames, take the functionally identical framed slats.
