Moosburger® Horsehair Insole

The original Moosburger® Horse Hair Insole is a climate-insole made of the finest horsehair which is damped, combed and quilted onto jute fabric, then surrounded by a cotton ribbon. An extraordinary quality of Europe's finest horsehair spinning mill that allows your feet to breathe.
The remarkable hydro-dynamic property of the 5 mm thick horsehair insole keeps your feet in a pleasant climate at all times and prevents sweating even in shoes like rubber boots. Whether in boots or chucks, the insole offers good help in terms of climate for any type of material that doesn't provide a good breathing/diffusion ability by itself - even during the bitter cold German winter it helps nicely. (But: It doesn't fit well into tight shoes and therefore has to be worn in a few days first.)

When it gets dirty or starts smelling it can be washed with water up to 40°C. And a sunbath will get rid of any bacteria. Those who would rather not use the horsehair side can simply turn the insole around and use the jute fabric side - the climate effect is the same.
