Zen R2+3 is a light, delicate, but strong mat, best used for massages and relaxation, be taken on travels, a guest mat, or in combination with a Yasumi 3+2 as a comfortable TWIN Futon for light people.
This mat combines "climate regulator" merino-wool outside; anti-static, fine, bouffant cotton on the inside and in between two stable layers of coconut fiber or horse hair (our recommendation).

Zen futons are made of 100 % natural materials. Wool, with or without horsehair or cotton with coconut (vegan). Or three fibres, cleverly combined.
According to demand and use the Zen mats can be perceived as smooth or robust, but they are always completely natural, climate active and flexible.
In combination with another Zen or a , a comfortable TWIN Futon can be achieved; for this purpose, particularly the variants with horsehair or coconut are suited. The most popular combination: Yasumi 3+2 with Zen R2+6.

Handles assist in lifting heavy mattresses for turning and airing out.
On light Zen and Yasumi futons having handles would be annoyingly prominent and wouldn't improve use.
For the strong types, especially in large sizes, handles help with handling.
Standard / without handles
The classic futon shape: Top and bottom meet halfway to the seam. Recommended for light / small futons and for futons on a futon sofa.

Our futons are basically natural, undyed, because we weave a strong cloth from fine organic cotton, in a noble satin weave, which meets all requirements and dyeing would affect the material. If you would like color on the futon (e.g. for use as a sofa), please do so with the additional protective cover, colored.
