BIOFUTON DW 5.0 – welcome to the luxury class.

Surely one of the best futons from our home, probably one of the best in the world combines the typical futon stable lying sensation with the highest comfort.
Firstly because the double latex core is made of 2 x 4 cm of pure, highly elastic natural rubber, which provides your body contours space and even more so keep the futon permanently in shape.
Secondly our very special fleece wool (in Alpine quality) envelops the content and unfolds noticeably their skin-friendly, pressure-relieving effect.
The fine cotton (certified organic / GOTS) increases the cuddle factor, as well as the diffusion / air conditioning and brings its anti-static properties.

The core of coconut fibres creates the middle of the DW 5.0 permanently. Not only is the bed climate optimised but the whole room will benefit from the filtering effect of a futon.

A futon is perceived differently depending on body weight, this luxury futon leaves little to be desired and is suitable for people from:

50-70 kg: soft to gentle firmness
70-90 kg: middle firmness / optimal
90-110 kg: primarily firm

Advice for couples: optimal for the most couples.

The processing for futon fleece is identical, and the climate Properties in the futon.
Only at the FUTON DX 2, and the Zen Shiatsu futons it can be felt that the coconut fiber is minimal more fixed.

We have always offered vegan futons (without animal fibers), so of course all our futons can be bought vegan as well. However, the functional quality of the futon is reduced as a result of not using (our clean alpine) wool. The futon requires more care and tends to be harder - an effect that is reinforced by the coconut fibers.
If you live vegan, simply select your favorite futon and order it vegan - the option for it will appear once you selected your desired dimensions and form. We will process cotton (on request also hemp, but this makes the futon harder) instead of wool and coconut instead of horsehair, and the price remains the same.

Shape variants

All futons are available in different forms:
Without handles (small, light models like the most TWIN futons),
with turning flaps (the most futon mattresses),
with edge / turning handles (the heavier models).

At 140x200 cm handles are useful for handling, absolutely recommended for the heavy qualities.
At 160x200 cm they're almost necessary to move the futon mattress for turning and airing out.
The models Biofuton DW 6.1 / DW 6.2 are fundamentaly fabricated in the variant edge / turning handles.
Some other models are also available in the variant ‚with edge and turning handles‛ (may be displayed).

Without handles

Small / light futons don't need handles. Handles are more of an eyesore for a sofa.

With turning flaps

Four flaps recommended from 140/200 for better grip when turning.

Edge / Turning handles

We sew in an edge between the top and bottom and affix two handles for turning on the long sides, extra stable and visually discreet.
Surcharge: 120€

The slip cover, organic / colored

With a washable protective cover in the original satin or in color ...

Our futons are basically natural, undyed, because we weave a strong cloth from fine organic cotton, in a noble satin weave, which meets all requirements and dyeing would affect the material. If you would like color on the futon (e.g. for use as a sofa), please do so with the additional protective cover, colored.
