Yasumi 8plus

Eight centimeters of solid natural latex plus 1000g/m² horsehair, covered with 2000g/m² Alpine wool - that is the highest level of comfort for people who want to maintain flexibility in terms of firmness. The latex is of high density and firmness, but it is natural latex with its enormous elasticity that adapts to every contour. The horsehair provides additional stability and slightly reduces sinking into the futon. The quality wool ensures a pleasant, warm and dry sleeping environment.

For medium-weight futon sleepers, this mat alone is enough of a bed. But it can also shine in combination, with the light Zen 4 as a topper, for more softness on the surface or with the strong Zen R2+6* / Zen R3+8 as a luxury futon combo for all weight classes.

  • 8cm firm natural latex (100% natural rubber, H5, 85kg/m³ density)
  • 2x 1000g/m² fleece wool in alpine quality
  • 1x 1000g/m² horsehair, stabilizing, improves air circulation
  • Cover: cotton satin controlled organic cultivation (GOTS), 260g/m², with thread stitching
  • Weight 10kg/m², Height 11-12cm, ø approx. 65cm rolled up

Also available in vegan (organic cotton replacing fleece wool, coconut fibers replacing horsehair); makes the futon firmer!

The Yasumi Collection

Yasumi Futons are beautiful, strong and have a lot to offer. The base of pure natural rubber, very high strength, is covered with plenty of good new wool. The noble organic cotton satin cover gives them the soft look, a cool grip and long durability.

Yasumi Futons are very comfortable, but not soft (exception: Yasumi 3+2 /sensitiv - the soft topper) and double layered or combined with they result in a full sleeping place - preferably on the floor or on tatami.

Shape variants

Handles assist in lifting heavy mattresses for turning and airing out.
On light Zen and Yasumi futons having handles would be annoyingly prominent and wouldn't improve use.
For the strong types, especially in large sizes, handles help with handling.

The slip cover, organic / colored

Our futons are basically natural, undyed, because we weave a strong cloth from fine organic cotton, in a noble satin weave, which meets all requirements and dyeing would affect the material. If you would like color on the futon (e.g. for use as a sofa), please do so with the additional protective cover, colored.
